2020 (and now 2021) taught us that we need to be able to adapt and become digitized. The need to better understand your business and your customers is more valuable now then ever before.
As you can already tell, email marketing has become so useful because are using it. We see people from across the globe using this medium. You will need to be able to find the right customers for your business so you can create campaigns that further meet there needs.

Keep Track Of Your Communications
Want to know the one thing your client hates the most? Getting late replies from you. I have seen this firsthand and it is not pretty.
In my opinion, responding to emails fast is a great strategy to boost your email campaigns because people love it! People love someone that makes it there goal to respond with information at a fast clip.
For me, I have started to respond to emails within 5 minutes of actually receiving them. I have found that people are more inclined to respond very quickly too so be ready. DO NOT CLOSE THOSE EMAILS TOO SOON.
Also, it is very important to keep track of these same communications, whether that be through a CRM like Hubspot or through your own notebook. Write down the most important emails and set reminders in your journal or your CRM to follow up with these people.

Think about it, if you where on the receiving end of that email, wouldn’t you want a response right away? And how good would that feel if you could settle discussions and schedule calls at such a fast paste?

I once called a sales professional and this was one of the first things he said, ” Make sure you are personalizing those emails”. Simple advice right? Yet so many people do not take it.

Now I have run into this problem before when it comes to automating emails. When you are sending to several people at a time, the act of personalization may be out of the question for you but I am here to tell you that it may be necessary.
When you take the time to target and personalize your email approach you are showing people that you have done your digging. You are showing them that you want there business.
In my opinion, if you are sending so many emails, the least you can do is personalize by industry at the very least and provide some content that may be relevant to a smaller group of people. Individualizing emails one by one may be out of the question for you but this does not mean that you do not have options.
List of ideas for personalization:
- Send a newsletter that relates to a common problem with that persons industry. Make this content relevant by doing some digging on the industry and finding solutions.
- Send video content, videos are so important for people because people love moving objections on a screen in 2021. I do too so get out there and make a compelling video about how you can have this industry grow!
- Send a marketing tool or survey that is relevant to the persons business and gives them a chance to see that you have been doing your research.
- Look for awards, recognitions, funny marketing videos, or anything unique AT ALL about the company and use it to your advantage!
These simple ideas can lead to tremendous response rates and can even be the difference between a customer coming back to your business.
Lastly, there in 2019 alone, there was 293.6 billion emails sent. I think it is time to make yours stand out!
